We read everything and answer what needs answering, usually within a couple of days.
What to put in the message
- His decade. The years he still measures everything against tell us more than his age does.
- What he does on a Tuesday. The hobby, the chair, the workshop, the route he walks — whichever is true.
- The budget, and who is splitting it. One grandkid or five cousins pooling changes the answer completely.
- The oldest thing you have seen him use happily. It is the single most useful sentence you can send us.
What we answer first
- Corrections. A wrong detail, a dead link, a product that no longer exists.
- Questions about a guide. Budget, occasion, or “would he actually use this.”
- Suggestions. A category we have missed, or a question a guide should answer and does not.
